Terms of Use
Last updated 25 October 2026
These terms apply when you use app.solaisglobal.com to tell your story. By ticking "I agree" you accept them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. What Solais is, and is not
- Solais helps you organize what happened and, if you choose, passes your story to one participating law firm.
- Solais is free for people telling their story.
- Solais is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Nothing on Solais, including any summary or AI suggestion, is legal advice.
- Using Solais does not create an attorney-client relationship with Solais or with any law firm. A relationship with a firm only starts if you and that firm agree to it directly.
- What you tell Solais may not be protected by attorney-client privilege. Leave out anything you would not want a court or the other side to see.
2. How matching works
After you send your story, our team reads it and matches it to one participating law firm based on the area of law, the location and whether the firm is taking new matters. Participating firms pay Solais a flat subscription. It never depends on which matters a firm takes, how many it takes or their outcome, and Solais never takes any part of a lawyer’s fee. When your story is sent, we tell you the city or county where that firm’s office is. Solais does not vouch for any firm's quality. Law firms are independent and responsible for their own advice and work.
We cannot promise that a firm will take your matter, reply by a certain date, or that your matter has a good outcome.
3. Deadlines and emergencies
Legal claims can have strict time limits. Do not rely on Solais to meet any deadline. If time is short, contact a lawyer or your local bar association's lawyer referral service directly. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number. Solais cannot respond to emergencies.
4. Who can use Solais
- You must be 18 or older. A parent or guardian may tell a child's story.
- Your matter needs a connection to the United States, because participating firms practise there.
- Use only your own account, and keep access to your email account secure.
5. Your story
- Tell the truth as best you know it. Do not pretend to be someone else.
- You keep ownership of what you write. You allow Solais to store and use it only to provide the service: to show it to you, review it, and send it to a law firm if you choose.
- Do not upload or type anything unlawful, threatening, or that you have no right to share.
6. Things you must not do
Do not try to reach other people's information, test or break our security, overload the service, copy it with automated tools, or use it to harass anyone. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Ending your use
You can stop at any time and delete your account from your account page. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
8. Our responsibility to you
We work hard to keep Solais available and accurate, but it is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Solais is not responsible for a law firm's advice or actions, for missed deadlines, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded, including in the UK and the EU.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. If you live in the UK or the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
10. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change takes effect and ask you to agree again.
